A tiny foil container of an outstanding grapefruit sencha was brought to us from Japan by a friend. We hoarded it, worshipped it, and ultimately finished it off.

Months went by and Candice kept bugging me to create a Zhi version. So I did. And it is pretty darn good if I may say so myself.

A simple blend of our premium sencha, natural grapefruit extract and pink grapefruit peel yields a mesmerizing cup.

The result: a delightful top note that sits delicately over the rich grassiness of the sencha. Perfect, subtle, intoxicating aromatics. Very addicting. Currently Jeffrey's (my) favorite green tea, by far. And now a best seller. Great for multiple steeps. Moderate caffeine.

Water: 185°F | Leaves: 2 teaspoons per 12 ounce cup | Infusion Time: 2-3 minutes

Basic Steeping Tips
- Use filtered or spring water, whenever possible
- Don’t over-boil water
- Remove leaves after recommended time (adjust to taste)
-If you want stronger tea, use more leaves instead of steeping for a longer time Leaves can be re-steeped 2-3 times resulting in various flavor differences.

Green tea's rich supply of antioxidants may well play a key role in the prevention of various cancers, like breast, colon, stomach, and lung cancer. They suppress the formation and growth of potent cancer-causing agents. While the potential anti-cancer properties of green tea look promising, they are also complex and not yet completely understood. Stay tuned! Do your research and talk to your doctor.
